Come and visit Solo

This is the sendratari which all the characters are performed by ladies. It was held due to the Kartini day (21 April)

Before I have my Bianca, My husband and I loved to visit TBS - Taman Budaya Surakarta, it's one of the art and cultural centers in Solo where many artists usually perform their works - .

It takes about 20 - 30 minutes from the airport to TBS.

We used to watch Sendratari - perhaps I can describe it as a traditional Javanese opera - well, there are songs, dialogues, and dances in Sendratari -, Ketoprak, Wayang, and other theathrical performances. Now, I'm still busy with my baby Bianca, so I no longer can visit and enjoy performances in TBS. My Husband and I really miss those days - although Bianca always makes us forget our longing ^o^..But don't worry, I still have many pictures of Solo's event, I'll soon upload and tell the story of my lovely town.
